I am now back in London contemplating our season...

Highlight was our class win at Cowes Week. We decided to enter Performance Cruiser Class, which is more in keeping with what Sam is, in the hope of being a bit more competitive. Well, we were! After a close tussle with Minx4, and X34 we won, but only just.

Then the Fastnet, which started in a near gale and was windy until we got becalmed off Cornwall. We picked up some wind offshore and had a good boisterous trip out to the rock and back. At the finish we were 7th in Class 4B out of 34 entries and 61st overall in IRC with around 260 entries. And as you can imagine, we were very pleased.

Next, Sam will be heading South for the ARC which starts on 21 Nov.
